Services Offered

Individual Session (50 Minutes)

An Individual session is the standard appointment, providing clients with time to check in, explore thoughts, emotions, experiences, or challenges, and learn about and utilize therapeutic techniques with your therapist. The content, pace, and structure of these sessions are tailored to your needs.

Short Individual Session (25 Minutes)

A short therapy session offers a focused, time-efficient space for support or a check in. Designed for quick, goal oriented work, short sessions can be great for clients to check in on progress, stay aligned with therapy goals, or receive support during a busy, stressful times.

Extended Individual Session (80 Minutes)

An extended therapy session provides more time for in-depth discussion, emotional processing, or therapeutic techniques. The structure is similar to a regular session — supportive, goal-focused, and tailored to your needs — but the added time allows for a more spacious and reflective experience.

FAQ

  • Therapy can be beneficial for anyone experiencing persistent feelings of overwhelm, anxiousness, or sadnes. It’s a good idea to consider therapy if these emotional difficulties are interfering with your daily life. Therapy is a space for you to explore anything from struggles with mental health, relationship conflicts, to working on developing coping skills and personal growth.

  • Prices are based on the service being provided. Please see the services page to see prices for the service you are looking for. I aim to make therapy accessible and do offer sliding scale prices. Book a consultation to see if you are eligible.

  • Please consult with your insurance provider to understand what types of licenses are covered. For example, are you covered for a registered social worker or a registered psychotherapist, or maybe both? If you are only covered for a "Psychologist" you will not be covered for our services. It is the responsibility of the client to check with their insurance plan to ensure coverage. Each plan is different, regardless of the insurance company. We do not provide direct billing, however, I provide a receipt after payment of session that you can submit for reimbursement.

  • Consultation is our opportunity to connect and I will likely ask you questions about your background, what’s bringing you to therapy, and other current concerns. Our first session will expand on this discussion and we can begin to explore the therapeutic process. This time is also dedicated to providing you the opportunity to ask questions to ensure this process is right for you.

  • An RP(Q) is a term the CRPO has for someone in the final stages of becoming fully registered as a psychotherapist. This category was created to ensure the regulation and oversight of psychotherapists while they are receiving the necessary clinical and supervision experiences. This means RP(Q)‘s participate in regular supervision while being licensed professionals.
